We're Sarah and Bill - a husband-and-wife team who met in film school and never really stopped making things together. Cinema is what brought us into each other's lives, and it's still something we share deeply. To us, traditional wedding films always felt a little too slow, too stiff and too predictable. We aim to capture the day in a way that feels vibrant and alive. Films shaped by joy, heartfelt words, and authenticity. Sound and music matter deeply to us. A song, words spoken, your guests voices, sounds of the space are all deeply personal to your event and the invisible emotional heart of your film. What inspires us most is connection and your unique story. We create with the future in mind. We aim to create a film that years from now you'll press play and be transported back. Hello! I'm Sarah, a filmmaker based in Asheville, North Carolina. I’m a hopeless romantic, a constant traveler, and someone who finds a lot of joy in good food and small, everyday details. I’ve loved cinema for as long as I can remember. I’m forever watching films, noticing light and movement, and collecting real life moments for inspiration. When I film weddings, I work gently and observantly, letting the day unfold as it truly is. I like to take a casual, easy going, having fun approach to directing you on your wedding day.
With over a decade of experience in professional editing and a background in film studies from Temple University, Bill’s relationship with storytelling has always been rooted in cinema. His career began in television and documentary film, where he learned how to craft raw footage into a story in shorts and features. His work has been featured by The New York Times, Sundance, and Slamdance. Bill approaches each story with patience and care. He has a gift of being naturally technical and detail oriented. He's a huge film buff and video game nerd.
